*In a monotone* Welcome to this insignificant little creature's (A.K.A. Woodpecker) online journal. *Still in a monotone* We hope you will enjoy your stay here.

Whoa. Imagine stumbling across this piece of history more than 3 years after the last post. The specimen had already finished rotting, and the bones had been bleached clean through and through. Disposal through the appropriate public sanitary channels was suggested, but it was decided to leave the subject lying around. Perhaps we'll get a fossil in a few thousand years time.

In the meanwhile, the (previously named) Woodpecker has shifted to a new tree.

PLTC - Patrol Leaders' Training Camp - Piece of Lame Training Crap
Aargghhh...

Exams're coming in 3 weeks, so no more blogging for me till then, although I think I can crap some stuff now for the sake of crapping stuff.

Last Thursday marked the start of the first day in the rest of my life, as Sec. 2 scouts from Chinese High (my school, duh) joined other schools such as (I bet you haven't heard of them) Teck Whye, Fu Hua, Ghim Moh, Juying and Assumption English School (Many more) for the annual West Zone Patrol Leaders' Training Camp

Term Holidays, but why does the woodpecker feel bored?
Good riddle in the title, I suppose....

I finally topped my MSG records since the start of the year, with a all-year-high of (drum rolls) 4.29 (rolls eyes). What? No applause? New record leh (sigh, I'm being lame again).

Well, I suppose 14/24th in class is still not good yet. Somehow the teachers seem to agree with the former statement (applies to the whole class too, because our grades this term suck), as they piled us with mountains full of homework. Most credit goes to Miss Letchmi, who gave the class 2 full Science testpapers to complete by the end of the holidays (I haven't mentioned the notes she got us to do yet).

Thankfully, kind and benevolent teachers like Mr. Teo (English teacher) and Ms. Sharma (Geography teacher) did not (or forgot) to follow the other teachers' examples, and let us off scot-free (I wonder why, I got B4 for both subjects).

There was a consortium lunch on Friday (the last day of term, stupid). The food was not bad, better than canteen standard anyway. When the teachers announced that second helpings were available, Fuji just walked past Mr. Tan Chee Wee and grabbed a chicken drumstick off the tray! Now that's what I call style....

Maybe I'm bored because there's too much homework to do. So monotonous....

3 Cheers for Dylan (Mr. Low to those of you not in 2N) and Mr. Yong! (1 for Mr. Lim)
Saad....

My Internet connection was slower than a snail running around in circles yesterday, so I decided to ditch yesterday's blog (to do some revision) and do (about) twice the amount of writing today.

Wednesday was what someone whom I know from my class would call slacky. Firstly we had E maths (which most everyone slept through. Don't ask me how many b'coz I was sleeping too) followed by a refreshing period of (yawn) english. We played frisbees (?) for P.E. and then went for reccess.

Nearly everyone played Liero AI during reccess. When Mr. Yong came in for Computer Studies guess what? He let us continue playing Liero AI because we finished this term's syllabus!!! (He asked some people how to play it too) The whole class spent more than 1.5 hours playing in the computer lab!!!

Double Chinese (snore) gave us another surprise (it did?). Dylan came into class later than normal (by a full 5 minutes). He proclaimed that he was feeling too tired to scold us so we just went through 2 topics (the class made a lot of wonderful background noise). 5 minutes before class ended, we finished the 2 topics, so Dylan said that we could be released early!!! (happy happy joy joy)

Today, during Maths, most of us in E maths weren't sleeping. We just wished we had chosen A maths last year. Their teacher, (Mr.) Clifton Lim was performing for them on his 'ol trustworthy guitar. (either because it was the last lesson of term or because they all "jia ba bo si zho"). Anyway, those who weren't enraptured by the single-note music were sleeping (Elbert snored). We pressurized Mdm. Tham to let us off early, and she said yes. GRRRrrrr.... She let us off 3 minutes late, 2 minutes after Mr. Lim left the other class....

Chong Woon - the girl?
Yay.

This day started just like any day would, and I even fooled myself to think it would be too. Shows what happens when you don't think and just assume, doesn't it?

A false hope for a vibrant day was shattered when Mr. Low gave us a Chinese Idioms (Idiots more like) test. In short, most of us were flattened, rolled up and tossed aside (where've I heard that quote from) by the insane mind-boggling questions which we spent a good part of our Chinese lesson cracking our heads over.

By the way, for anyone who knows Chong Woon Jeck, that guy just revealed to me today that a Malaysian man mistook him for a girl in the Gent's toilet in Malaysia when he was younger. Apparently it was the cute hood on his navy blue sweater that caused that grown man to utter the words "perempuan"(girl) and "biru"(blue) to his mother, who promptly set the wrong right.

He still wore that sweater to English lesson....

OOOooo... Blogger up!!
Under extreme pressure from seeing my CHS friends' (and cousin's) bloggers up, I have made the relatively (un)wise choice of breathing life into my very own blogger and freeing my personal thoughts to those loafing around in the WWW (Whole Wide World).....

So.... well, i admit that this first foray into creating and keeping an online journal is not exactly going to be a piece of cake for someone as messy, untidy, unkempt, blur, (the list goes on)..... as me, but with time, patience, effort, perseverance, (this list goes on too)....., this blog may well be a sign that I'm mature enough not only to "kebelakan- pusing" (180 degree turn) my studies, but also to keep a metaphysical logbook of my daily life.

Sigh....

In sooth I know not why I am sad, it wearies me you say it wearies you.... (Quoth The Merchant Of Venice [TMOV])
